Help United Way serve 100 Buddy Bags to children in Miami County. Buddy Bags are a tool to fight food insecurity among children in Miami County. The Buddy Bag initiative serves Headstart, preschool, and kindergartners with non-perishable food. Every Thursday, qualifying students receive a bag containing enough food for themselves and their families for the weekend.
Three weeks till Giving Tuesday, November 29, the day the whole world comes together to give back—and we've set a big goal. We want to raise $5,000 enough money in a single day to help leverage funds for our Buddy Bags, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and Homelessness initiatives.
