United Way Closes 2019 Campaign

So many of you stepped up to give, and you should know it will make a difference in the lives in our community. Your caring, dedication and generosity reminds me of how important it is to support our neighbors through United Way. Those that stepped up in the last hour thank you!
We didn’t meet our goal, but we’re not going to dwell on that. We’re going to focus on our programs and initiatives and what they do, not the amount of money we raised.
The United Way’s goal is to collaborate and work together to solve these systemic community issues. So until we can say we’re all wanting to do the same thing, let’s leverage each other’s resources, to fix it next year.
The 2019 campaign has officially closed, and I want to take a moment to say, “THANK YOU, TO EVERYONE!” This year Campaign Cabinet volunteers raised $160,450.97, 84.4% of the $190,000 goal.
“VOLUNTEERS”
We sometimes find it hard to place a value on our community volunteers. They are our unsung heroes who help our communities thrive. Thanks again to all who volunteered this year. We’re a better community because when you reach out a hand to one, you improve the condition of all.
Thank you!
Debi Wallick, Executive Director
