PERU, IND., June 19, 2023 – The United Way of Miami County announced it would kick off its 2023 fundraising campaign with a Casino Royale-themed event on the evening of August 19 at Milestone Event Center. The nonprofit organization is seeking sponsors and donors of auction items for the Gala, which is expected to attract 125 or more attendees. All proceeds from the evening and sponsorships will directly benefit numerous local initiatives centered on food insecurity, homelessness, education, community safety, and mental health.

“Thousands of children and adults in Miami County rely on the United Way for critical support services. Our sponsorship program is a great way for businesses to give back to our community,” shared Melissa Hicks, United Way board member, and chair of the 2023 Gala.
