United Way of Miami County Announces New Executive Director

After a search for a successor to the current Executive Director, the United Way of Miami County Board of Directors appointed Morgan Gold as Executive Director of United Way of Miami County (UWMC) effective January 1, 2024. Ms. Gold will be replacing Debi Wallick, who after serving in the position for 22 years, will be retiring at the end of the year.  Ms. Gold will begin working with Executive Director Wallick later this month to begin the smooth transition.

“Morgan brings extensive experience in program leadership, community impact, resource development, and abundant energy and enthusiasm to advance the mission of UWMC,“ said Jeff Altmiller, UWMC Board President. “We look forward to working with her as we continue to build on the successful progress established by our current Executive Director Debi Wallick in order to build a stronger community.”

The Board is very thankful for Director Wallick’s dedication to the community and United Way of Miami County.  She is passionate about the betterment of education, income, and health for all individuals in our community.  The Board wishes Director Wallick the best in her retirement.
