2020 Coloring Contest

The United Way of Miami County is sponsoring a coloring contest to help kick-off our 2020 Campaign. We need your help to distribute and collect each entry from each school. Last year there were 245 entries turned in thanks to your help.

United Way of Miami County announced Thursday, December 31, 2015, it officially closed its campaign.
The organization's goal was to raise at least $195,000. The official total came to $202,662, which is 103.9% of goal. “It's a message of confidence that the community has in us; they trust us to be good stewards of what they're giving. It's exciting to see how far we have come and also to look ahead and see what we will be able to do because of the funds we raise," says Executive Director, Debi Wallick.
2016 Funding Applications Ready
United Way of Miami County is accepting applications for agencies wishing to receive funds from the 2016 Fall Campaign, payable 2017. Applications can be picked up at the United Way office located at the Community Resource Center at 13 East Main Street, Peru, and are due back no later than noon Wednesday, January 20, 2016. To be eligible to receive funding from United Way, each agency applying must have a 501c3 status and provide social service programs that benefit the citizens of Miami County.

Second year in a row meeting fundraising expectations
United Way exceeds its campaign goal two years in a row raising $200,312, which is 102.7 percent of their estimated $195,000 for the 2014 year, according to United Way Executive Director Debi Wallick.
Registration open for Double Nickel Bike Ride
Event returns for second year Aug. 23

Pre-registration is available through Aug. 13 for the Second Annual Double Nickel Bike Ride.
Participants can register in advance by going to www.uwmiamip.com. To receive a short-sleeve t-shirt, registration must be completed by Aug. 13.
The ride is Aug. 23, with $25 registration at 7 a.m. and the race at 8 a.m. from Breakaway Bike Shop, 8 S. Wabash Street in Peru.

The "fund" run / walk will take place at 5:30 PM, on Friday, April 19, 2024.
